APS Girls’ Child Education Program: Shaping the Future

Education is a powerful catalyst for change, and APS is committed to closing the gender gap in education through its Girls' Child Education Program, which focuses on:

• Enrolling all out-of-school girls aged 6 to 14, ensuring access to quality education.
• Engaging parents and communities to break social and cultural barriers to girls’ education.
• Digital empowerment, providing laptops and digital courses to enhance learning opportunities.
• Confidence-building and leadership training, preparing young girls to become future leaders.

Through these initiatives, APS is not only advocating for gender equality but actively transforming lives. By empowering women and girls with education, dignity, and self-sufficiency, APS is building a future where opportunities are truly equal for all.

The Girls' Child Education Program aims to support the education of underprivileged girls through scholarships, essential school supplies, and program coordination. The yearly scholarship program will provide financial assistance to 50 girls, with each receiving ₹10,000, totaling ₹5,00,000 per year. Additionally, to ensure effective implementation and outreach, a coordinator for the Back to School project will be appointed at a monthly salary of ₹15,000, amounting to ₹1,80,000 annually. Furthermore, to encourage school enrollment and provide necessary learning materials, 1,500 school bag kits will be distributed across 15 villages, with each kit costing ₹600, leading to a total expense of ₹9,00,000. In total, the budget required for the program amounts to ₹15,80,000 annually. This initiative will help in bridging the education gap for girls and ensuring their continued academic progress.
