Meet Umar, an 11-year-old resident of Saraigokul village nestled in the Ghazipur district of Uttar Pradesh. Formerly subjected to the harsh realities of child labor, Umar was frequently tasked with carrying dishes at weddings. However, his plight caught the attention of the APS team, prompting them to intervene and successfully extricate him from this exploitative situation. Following his rescue, Umar was enrolled in a reputable child development center, where he received the care and support he deserved. Today, his story serves as an inspiration not only to his peers but to the entire village, with children expressing their aspirations to emulate Umar's resilience and determination.
